Congratulations to the 26 Wicomico County High School students receiving the Maryland Seal of Biliteracy on Monday night at a ceremony at Prince Street Elementary. The honor recognizes students for the high level of proficiency in the following:

-Listening

-Speaking

-Reading

-and writing of one or more languages other than English.

The event was held at Prince Street Elementary, which has 246 Multilingual learners, the most of any elementary school in Wicomico County Public Schools. Over a dozen Prince Street scholars shared quotes about being multilingual.
