From Mrs. Holdren and the Parkside Spanish National Honor Society:
PJ’s for Babies ~A Gift of Warmth and Love
There is this quote I love :“We have two hands: one to help and one to give.”
This month my SNHS students turned this quote into action to help The Joseph House Crisis Center in Salisbury; with compassion and dedication, they donated 53 cozy baby pajamas for 53 precious babies , yes all for the Crisis Center; bringing comfort and warmth to many little ones that needed most. Our goal was 50. We started our mission: preparing, counting, and recognizing a bigger need. For my kids this was a lesson of service, a lesson in empathy, love and the power of giving.
Our students proved that age doesn’t limit impact. They are building a legacy of kindness that will ripple into the future. Because helping someone in need is more than a project; it’s a principle for life. I couldn't be more proud today of each of them, I'm thankful for our officers who did an amazing job with the delivery as well, they are amazing!!
Thank you Mrs. Holdren and the PHS SNHS for always thinking of others first!
