Over the past three years, you have navigated significant challenges- building and refining a new program, adapting to changing school needs, and supporting students through uncertain and evolving circumstances. Your flexibility, perseverance, and professionalism have been essential to the success of this work.
Because of your efforts, students across our schools are better equipped to explore career pathways, set goals, and envision meaningful futures. I am deeply appreciative of the time, energy, and care you continue to invest in this program and in the students you serve. Students have had opportunities like never before!
Your dedication has laid a strong foundation for a program that will continue to grow and positively impact students for years to come. Thank you for your leadership, collaboration, and commitment- today and every day.

Students, don’t miss this opportunity to explore a career in law enforcement! Whether you are undecided on your future career path or considering a career in Law or Government work, this is a valuable opportunity for you. Join us for an exciting field trip to the Salisbury Police Department, where students will learn the operations of a police department and explore different career pathways in law enforcement and community service.
What You’ll Learn
How the Salisbury Police Department operates day to day
The difference between civilian and sworn law enforcement careers
Administrative and operational roles within the department
Career pathways you may want to pursue in the future
This is a professional networking opportunity. Students must dress in professional or business-casual attire. Light snacks will be provided. Students will return to school for lunch. Students are responsible for any work missed during this time.
Eligibility Requirements: Students will not be accepted if they:
Have any suspensions during 2nd quarter
Have ongoing behavioral concerns or administrative write-ups
Contact tour career coach Mr. Reed in Guidance for questions.
Interest meeting for the Model UN Club will take place tomorrow during RAM TIME in room L-10 (Sensbach).

Today's the day...our very own Caitlyn Simpson will be performing in the 2026 Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, CA as a part of the Bands of America Honor Band that she was accepted into earlier in 2025. Caitlyn has been a leader in our Parkside Marching RAMS Color Guard since she started in the 8th grade. We are so proud of you Caitlyn and can't wait to see you performing today!
